One of the traffic lights out in Kahala due to a power outage.
The Hawaiian Electric company confirmed a power outage in Kahala, which was affecting about 1,000 customers and part of Kahala Mall Friday afternoon.
A HECO spokesman said the outage was affecting the side of the mall with Whole Foods Market.
Crews were working on a problem with the underground cable.
Some traffic lights in the area were also not working due to the outage.
A HECO spokesman said power was restored by 4:45 p.m.
