Gov. recovering from shoulder surgery
Events on Friday may need to be rescheduled

Gov. Neil Abercrombie reported Thursday that the elective surgery he underwent on Wednesday to address an existing shoulder injury was a success.
The governor is in the recovery phase, which may require rescheduling of select events on Friday.
He is attending to state business from his residence and expects to be back in the gym and office soon.
