Noh even played the trumpet almost every day until he died.

He was a World War II veteran and a founding member of the Hawaii Korean Golf Club.

Noh is survived by his wife Miriam and three sons -- Raymond, Howard, and David.

A memorial service for Noh will be held Jan. 3 at Diamond Head Mortuary.  That day would have been his 89th birthday.

The service is open to the public.
