Man dies in Sand Island crash
The Honolulu medical examiner has identified the man who died after a motorcycle crash on Sand Island on Saturday.
The man has been identified as 27-year-old Peejay Facun from Jacksonville, Fla. The medical examiner does not yet have a cause of death.
Police say Facun lost control of the motorcycle on Sand Island Road and crashed into a street sign and traffic light near the entrance to the Matson yard just before 4 p.m.
Investigators say speed was a factor in the crash.
