An unoccupied two-story building was destroyed by fire Saturday in Wailuku, according to Maui County fire officials.
The fire began Saturday at around 3 p.m. at a home on Pakani Street. Crews arrived at the scene to find the wooden structure fully engulfed in flames.
According to fire officials, no one was home at the time of the fire. They added that the structure was vacant. No injuries were reported.
Damage is estimated at $310,000. The fire cause is undetermined.
