Fire crews respond to unknown odor in Kapahulu
Two people left the Hawaii School For The Deaf and Blind due to smell

Fire crews responded to the Hawaii School for the Deaf and the Blind in Kapahulu Friday morning because of an unknown odor.
The first call came in just before 9:45 a.m.
One school official said a counselor and a speech language teacher left because of the unknown smell. One of them is pregnant and the other was breastfeeding.
Fire crews left by 10:30 a.m. Officials say although the source of the smell was never found, there was a possibility it was the insecticide malathion.
