average THERE at 4-35. Have you got a good recipe for pumpkin pie? The folks in Kamuela do... and it's the same recipe they've been using to bring the community together for some autumn fun. It'll take a lot of cinnamon and nutmeg to bake up this pumpkin for Thanksgiving. The parents, teachers and students of Hawaii Preparatory Academy are up for it again this year. They are well stocked with the orange stuff for their 22nd annual pumpkin patch festival. 1:20 BACK WHEN IT WAS FIRST ESTABISHED IT WAS CALLED THE GREEN MONSTER BAZARRE AND IT WAS A SMALLER FUNCTION. 1:28 IN THE YEARS IT HAS GROWN TO BE AN EVENTWHEE WE ATTRACT 5,000 PEOLE YEARLY FROM WAIMEA AND ALL AROUND THE BIG ISLAND. The HPA Ohana Association plans the event to raise funds for school programs. Each class takes responsibility for a specific booth, and the money taken in goes to projects for the class. Even the teachers pitch in. 44: GREAT, THIS IS AWESOME. The festival also welcomes other non-profits to share in the pumpkin bounty. The red Cross and the food bank are part of the ohana celebrating the new season and the spirit of sharing.
