Honolulu police were forced to close the H-1 Freeway eastbound at the Aiea off-ramp because of excessive traffic going into Aloha Stadium where the 2013 Pro Bowl is held.

Police shut down the ramp about 2 p.m. Sunday.  Motorists should use an alternate route.
