Earthquake shakes northeastern Japan

A 7.3 magnitude earthquake shakes Japan resulting in no tsunami warning for Hawaii.
A strong earthquake shook northeastern Japan around 11:18 p.m. Hawaii time.
USGS says it was 7.3 in magnitude.
NHK TV says a tsunami warning has been issued for Japan and a 3-foot tsunami was produced. Only minor injuries were reported from the earthquake.
There is no tsunami warning for Hawaii.
