More than 70 aftershocks have struck the West Canadian Coast since Saturday night's 7.7-magnitude earthquake that prompted tsunami evacuations in Hawaii, according to the U.S. Geological Service website.
One of the recent earthquakes shook at around 4:49 p.m. Hawaii time Monday with a magnitude of 6.2 about 117 miles south of Masset. It was one of the largest aftershocks since Saturday.
Shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center posted a tsunami warning Saturday night for Hawaii. The warning was lifted just before 1 a.m. Sunday.
