DISH and Direct TV customers statewide have reported problems receiving local broadcast television stations Sunday.

According to a DISH technician, the problem involves DISH relaying the local signals provided by Hawaii stations to their satellites. The issue is similar to one experienced during recent solar flare surge last month, according to the technician.

The feed was expected to be fixed sometime afternoon. DISH service was reported to be back on around 1:40 p.m. Sunday.
