Michigan Tech University officials reported that someone removed 23 custom aluminium tables from Shipman lands off Highway 130 near the 3-mile marker in Keaau, according to Big Island police.

The theft happened between July 7 and Aug. 3.

Police ask that anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information on the identity of the person or persons responsible call Officer Shawn Tingle at 965-2716.
