Crews work on damaged water main in Makiki

Board of Water Supply says crews have repaired a damaged 2.5 inch service main fronting 1074 Lunalilo Street in the Makiki area Tuesday.

The right lane of Lunalilo Street, between Pensacola and Ernest Streets, remain closed as Hawaiian Electric Company crews work to repair a damaged utility pole.   Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternate travel routes.

Seven customers were without water for one to three hours as crews executed the repair.
