Crash near Honolulu airport hospitalizes 3

26-year-old woman, 69-year-old man in serious condition

A crash between two vehicles near the Honolulu International Airport Monday afternoon sent three people to the hospital, including a 3-year-old girl, according to Emergency Medical Services officials.

It happened at around 3:15 p.m. near the intersection of North Nimitz Highway and Elliott Street.

Witnesses say Good Samaritans pulled over to help one of the drivers who lost control before the vehicle overturned.

EMS officials say a 26-year-old woman and a 69-year-old man were hospitalized in serious condition.  The 3-year-old girl had minor injuries.
