Court documents: Stabbing suspect found with blood on hands

2nd stabbing near Keaaumoku McDonald's in 16 days

The man accused of a stabbing near the McDonald's on Keeaumoku Street apparently had blood on his hands when police tracked him down, according to court documents.

Richard Lam, 21, of Kalihi was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in the stabbing of 22-year-old Makalii Nahinu on Sheridan Street early Sunday.

Court documents say that Lam got into a fight with Nahinu and stabbing him numerous times with a weapon that looked like a pocketknife.

Officers later found Lam at a gas station.  Nahinu was hospitalized in serious condition

Bail is set at $100,000.

This was the second stabbing in the last 16 days at that location.
