Hawaii County fire crews continue to search Tuesday for a missing swimmer who went missing off Kehena Beach on the southeast side of the Big Island Sunday.
A surfer told authorities he tried to help the man, who is in his 30s, but saw the man go underwater with the strong currents.
The Coast Guard is no longer assisting in the search.
