Good news for the state after the Council on Revenues revised Thursday its economic forecast for the next two fiscal years.
The current fiscal year takes the forecast from 4.9 percent growth to 5.1 percent growth. That will mean an additional $10.3 million for the state, if the forecast holds true.
For the fiscal year 2014, the forecast climbed from 3.9 percent growth to 6.8 percent growth. That works out to an extra $162.3 million for the state, if the forecast comes to pass.
Andrew Pereira will have more on this story tonight on KITV4 News at 6.
