The Cheesecake Factory at the Royal Hawaiian Center in Waikiki says it will reopen this Monday after a three-week closure due to a kitchen fire.
The restaurant will resume normal business hours at 11 a.m. The grand reopening will be preceded by a traditional Hawaiian blessing of the restaurant. The public is welcome to attend the blessing ceremony at 9:30 a.m.
The Cheesecake Factory is lauding the efforts of the Honolulu Fire Department for its work in extinguishing the fire. The Royal Hawaiian Center management team and the restaurant's repair and construction teams have been instrumental in expediting the reopening.
Workers were paid their regular wages throughout the entire closure, according to the restaurant.
