Check out these deadlines & extended hours for holiday season

Here are some important holiday deadlines and extended hours for the 2012 holiday season in Hawaii.

Mailing deadlines to make it it Christmas:

• Dec. 18 - First Class & Priority Mail to Mainland
  
• Dec. 19 - Express mail to American Samoa
  
• Dec. 20 - Express Mail to Mainland, First Class/Priority Mail to other Hawaii Islands and   Express mail to Guam & Saipan
  
• Dec. 22 - Express mail to other Hawaii Islands
  

The last day to buy fireworks permits is Friday Dec. 21. They can be bought at any Honolulu Satellite City Hall location.

As of Monday 2, 495 permits were sold with 2,040 sold this time last year.

Aloha Stadium Swap Meet extended hours:

8 a.m. - 3 p.m. everyday starting Wednesday Dec. 19.

Free admission until Christmas Eve

$1 admission on Christmas Eve before 10 a.m. (day of Sheraton Hawaii Bowl)

$5 admission on Christmas Eve after 10 a.m.

Only department stores will be open on Christmas Eve at Ala Moana Mall:

Windward Mall will be open from 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. Christmas Eve

Pearlridge will be open from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Christmas Eve
