A woman visiting family in the One Archer Lane Condo complex called for help when her car started smoking in the turnout for the South King Street complex.

A security guard called for help around 9:45 a.m. when he opened the door to the car and saw flames.

Honolulu firefighters arrived within minutes, and extinguished the fire before it spread to the car's gas tank or the One Archer building.

The woman told security officers she had just filled up her car with gas at the nearby Tesoro gas station.

No one was injured in the fire.
