Restaurant has been around for 47 years
Bryon's Drive-in will close its doors in February 2013 due to demolition plans.
Byron's Drive-In announced Thursday it will be closing on Feb. 28, 2013 at 10 p.m.
Industrial Investments, Byron's Drive-In landlord, notified the restaurant of its plans to demolish the landmark at the corner of North Nimitz Highway and Paiea Street.
Andy Wong opened up Byron's Drive-In in 1965 and it has been going strong for 47 years.
Thirty-five employees will be affected by the closing.
Byron's Drive-In is known for its shrimp burger, oyster burger, fried Twinkies and Green River drink.
Kuahiwi Ranch will lose a 1,000-pound-per-month buyer of ground beef.
