Honolulu Ocean Safety officials say crews have posted box jellyfish warning signs at all Waikiki and Ala Moana beaches.

As of 11:45 a.m., lifeguards counted 10 box jellyfish and 12 stings were reported in the Waikiki area.

Emergency Medical Services crews responded to treat a woman in her mid-20s for a jellyfish sting at the tower near the police station in Waikiki.  She was hospitalized in serious condition.
