An entertainment website is reporting that the FBI is investigating death threats against bounty hunter Duane "Dog" Chapman and his family.
An FBI spokesman in Honolulu would not confirm nor deny if there is an investigation but did say that attorneys for the Chapmans forwarded the matter to FBI officials in Los Angeles, and was passed on to the FBI office in Honolulu.
RadarOnline is reporting the Chapmans received emails over a four-day period threatening murder, rape, kidnapping and other acts of violence.
A spokeswoman for the Chapman family says they are taking the threats seriously.
Chapman and his family are stars in the A&E reality show "Dog The Bounty Hunter."
