Big Island police have charged a Honomu man with a deadly stabbing Sunday morning in Hilo.

Police responded to a home on Pua Street at 6:18 a.m. Sunday, July 22 on reports of a stabbing.  Once inside, officers say they found 30-year-old Joshua Trickel stabbed to death.  Schuster was arrested at the scene.

The 49-year-old Honomu man has been charged with second degree murder, promoting a dangerous drug, and drug paraphernalia.  His bail was set at $54,000.
