54 customers affected in Wahiawa valve break

WAHIAWA, Hawaii -

The Board of Water Supply says crews were working on a 6-inch valve break on Kilani Avenue in Wahiawa Monday.  Fifty-four customers were affected by the break.

A water wagon was available at 265 Lehua Street.  There was also a spigot on a hydrant at the intersection of Kilani Avenue and Westervelt Street.

The break was reported at 10:40 a.m. Traffic was not affected by the break.

Board of Water Supply officials say repairs were made and water was restored by 8 p.m.
