5.8-magnitude earthquake shakes Aleutians
No tsunami expected

A 5.8-magnitude earthquake shook the western Aleutian Islands Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the National Weather Service and the Alaska Tsunami Warning Center said a tsunami is not expected.
The quake was centered 70 miles west-northwest of Attu Station, Alaska with a depth of 13.5 miles. It struck at 10:56 a.m. Hawaii time.
