Three people were hospitalized in serious, but stable, condition after a two-car crash on the westbound lanes of the H-1 Freeway near the Koko Head Avenue overpass Thursday afternoon, according to Emergency Medical Services officials.

The crash happened around 1:30 p.m.

A 79-year-old woman and a 80-year-old man were in one vehicle.  The other vehicle was driven by a 65-year-old man.

They were treated and transported to a local area trauma center.
