WAHIAWA, Hawaii -

City and Federal fire fighters teamed up to battle a single-story house fire on Schofield Barracks Saturday morning.

According to officials, the one person who was home at the time got out by the time fire crews arrived.  The fire was controlled in less than an hour, but the damaged it caused made the home unlivable for the three residents.

No one was hurt and no other homes on Charlton Street were threatened.  No word on what caused the fire.
