A 3.7 magnitude earthquake struck off the West Hawaii Friday afternoon, according to scientists from the U.S. Geological Survey.
The quake was centered 16 miles north of Kailua-Kona and shook the area at around 2:18 p.m. It had a depth of 9.9 miles.
The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said there is no threat of a tsunami.
