Honolulu police say a man shot late Wednesday night in Makaha has died.  The victim has been identified as Chris Medeiros.

Investigators say the 26-year-old  was shot around 8:30 p.m. at a home on Lahaina Street.

A neighbor drove Medeiros to Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center before he was taken to the Queen's Medical Center.  The neighbor, Joseph Kaululaau describes the scary moments. 

"He was bleeding all over his body, I didn’t see where he was shot or know where it was," said Kaululaau.

Police have arrested 23-year-old Chad Duran in connection to the shooting. He was booked in the downtown Honolulu Police station Wednesday afternoon on attempted murder.  The charge is expected to change to murder.
