Two people were able to escape their Kaneohe home after it went up in flames early Wednesday, according to fire officials.
The fire broke out just before 12:30 a.m. at a three-story home on Kuneki Way.
The flames were extinguished about 40 minutes later.
Authorities say about half of the home was heavily damaged.
Fire investigators say the flames started in a utility/fitness room on the bottom floor. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
Damage is estimated at $350,000.
