The Hawaii Sacred Choir was supposed to perform in England next month, but fell short on funding. They asked for help and the public pitched in a big way.
The group's choir master tells us that Hollywood stars Will and Jada Smith were watching KITV4 on Jun. 8 while vacationing and sent the choir a letter, along with a donation of $10,000. That's the exact amount of money the choir needed for the trip.
In addition, another couple visiting from California did the same thing and donated another $10,000.
It was music to the choir members' ears.
Their trip to England is set for July.
