Hana Highway has been reopened after crews cleared a major mudslide.

Officials say 20 feet of mud and debris slid down a hillside completely blocking the roadway. It happened around 5:30 p.m. Friday evening near mile marker 14.
Crews cleared about 2,000 cubic yards of the debris overnight. One lane was reopened for contraflow around midnight, and all lanes in both directions were reopened around 4:30 Saturday morning.
