An early morning fire destroyed a house in Hau'ula and displaced 10 residents on Sunday.
Fire officials responded to the call for the two-alarm fire at 5:24 a.m. at 54-148 Kawaipuna St. The fire was brought under control at 5:53 a.m. and extinguished at 6:40 a.m.
A man in his 60s received burns on his arm, but he refused medical treatment. No other injuries were reported.
The house is a total loss and damage is estimated at $400,000. Red Cross volunteers responded to help those displaced by the fire.
