KITV will air the 85th Academy Awards this Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013!

The Oscars Red Carpet event starts at 6 p.m.  Lara Spencer, Jess Cagle, Kristin Chenoweth and Kelly Rowland are hosting.

Then the Oscars start at 7:30 p.m.

"Family Guy" funnyman Seth MacFarlane makes his first appearance on the stage at the annual gala in the role of host.  The ceremony honoring outstanding achievements in film takes place at Los Angeles' Dolby Theatre.  Scheduled musical performers include Adele, Norah Jones, Shirley Bassey and -- in her first Oscar performance in 36 years -- Barbra Streisand.  Critically acclaimed producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron produce the 85th annual ceremony.
