'The Bachelorette' Insider Week 9 Recap
KITV4 would like to introduce you to our in-house expert on "The Bachelorette," Lauren Wang. During the day, she works in our sales department, but on the nights when "The Bachelorette" is airing, she is glued to the television set. She will keep you up-to-date with the show and give you some inside scoops on what is happening with the Bachelorette herself, Emily Maynard.
Conference call with Sean Lowe - 7/12/2012
Poor Sean was completed blindsided by his elimination last Monday. We all saw how heart broken he was, BUT good news guys and gals, Sean is trying to move on with his life.
Sean said that looking back he realizes that Emily is NOT the one for him (Sean even said that he wouldn’t give her a second chance)!
Watching Emily’s relationships with Arie and Jef helped him get over her. He was a bit surprised and shocked that she was so close to both of them, but ultimately he can see now that she did have strong connections with both guys.
This was Sean’s first experience with heart break (awwww, we love you Sean)! But he has been able to get through it with the love and support of his family (that is just too sweet).
Even though Sean didn’t say I love you as soon as Jef and Arie, he believes that Emily knew all along how he felt and he doesn’t think that was a factor in why she sent him home.
During his time on the show he wanted to pretend like it was just him and Emily. He wanted to cherish and value his relationship with her (he never talked about their dates or his feelings for her with the guys). He has no questions for Emily at this time and wishes nothing but the best for her.
But he did say he wants Emily to know his feelings were real and he did open himself up to her. Emily had doubts and Sean said multiple times on this call that the person he will spend his life with will have no doubts (omg, seriously? What guy says that?).
Sean was closest to John Wolfe, Doug, Alejandro and actually Ryan (what?! I can’t wait to see them all reunited at The Men Tall All). He didn’t think he would make friendships with these guys but he did. On their spare time, they mostly cracked jokes, wrestled, threw the football…they were just guys being guys.
