'The Bachelorette' Insider Week 6 recap
KITV4 would like to introduce you to our in-house expert on "The Bachelorette," Lauren Wang. During the day, she works in our sales department, but on the nights when "The Bachelorette" is airing, she is glued to the television set. She will keep you up-to-date with the show and give you some inside scoops on what is happening with the Bachelorette herself, Emily Maynard.
Week 6 Recap - 6/19/2012
WOW! Croatia was intense!
Emily sent two guys packing after their one-on-one dates and she even decided that she didn’t want to send anyone home at the rose ceremony (now that’s a first)!
Emily’s date with Travis didn’t really go as well as either of them wanted it to. I was hoping that there would be a romantic spark too just because he seemed like an all-around nice guy. Unfortunately, it wasn’t there. Emily broke Travis’ heart by sending him packing, but she truly didn’t feel any romantic chemistry between them. It’s the worst to want something so badly and not get it (awww Travis). I hope that he does find someone because from his breakdown, you could tell the poor guy’s just looking for love.
Let the games begin! Jef, Arie, Sean, Doug, Chris and John competed for the bravery "trophy" in none other than kilts (hahaha they looked hot, please not the sarcasm)!
Sean was definitely the strongest and most athletic of the bunch and, oh my, Chris was just plain BAD. Sorry Chris, I like you, but yikes! You’re not very athletic are you? Emily found it cute that he wasn’t as athletic as the other guys, but for me I didn’t find that attractive. She even gave Chris the group date rose (it was a total pity rose -- I’m joking). But, he did drop the "L" word to her and I think he really meant it. So it was sort of a no brainer that she would give him the rose.
Cocky Ryan had his second one-on-one date with Emily. All of the guys are clearly not big fans of his. I loved seeing how they were making fun of him and talking behind his back! He totally deserved it though. I mean some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth. You’re like, is this guy for real?
But, on the flip side, Ryan is a charmer in his own way. So, I know that’s why Emily was having a hard time deciding if she wanted to keep him around for another week or not. In the end, Emily decided to send him home. I’m pretty sure she decided it after he called her a trophy wife for like the hundredth time and when he brought out his "list." I was like GAME OVER! (What’s up with this guy and writing? First his 20 page letter now this)
Guys, I hope you’re taking notes -- NEVER write us a list of 12 things that you want in a relationship and have one of the bullet points be that you want a servant. Sorry Ryan, better luck next time!
