The state Elections Commission is holding a public hearing Friday morning.
On the agenda, Chief Election Officer Scott Nago's review of the primary election.
Commissioners will also discuss the 800 ballots from Maui that were not counted on primary election night. The discovery was made a few days later, but not publicly revealed until the special election on the Big Island about a week later.
Nago blamed human error following a recount of electronic memory cards. The public will also be able to comment.
The meeting starts at 10 a.m. at the State Office Tower at 235 South Beretania Street.
