Walmart is set to open it's 10th Hawaii location in downtown Honolulu by mid-July. KITV 4 got a sneak preview today. The store will include everything you'd expect from a Walmart including grocery items, clothing, home furnishing, pharmacy and a bank, to name a few. This store will have something none of the other Hawaiian locations have --a second floor.
Parking is complimentary- if you purchase $25 or more worth of items. Those who do not meet that minimum will be charged $3 dollars for the first 30 minutes.
Walmart says the store will employ 150 associates, 80 percent of whom will be new hires.
Walmart opened its first store in the state 20 years ago.
