No one is sure why, but there are reports of dead fish washing up this week on Oahu's south shore.
On Wednesday, Eyes of the Reef took a call about fifty dead fish and three sting rays near Ala Moana bowls. Watch the video.
State health officials say someone called about dead fish found near Ko Olina.
Officals say fish also washed ashore in the Ala Wai helipad area. The fish appear to be roughly the same size and in a similar condition. Samples of still living fish were taken to determine a possible cause of death.
Beachgoers also found fish at San Souci near the Waikiki Natatorium Tuesday.
Andrew Rossiter of the Waikiki Aquarium says the fish washing ashore appear to be flying fish, most likely affected by something at the surface of the water.
But, public help is still being sought to find out exactly what happened.
