The U.S. Coast Guard and Big Island rescue crews spent Saturday searching for a fisherman missing since Friday night.

The Coast Guard said a 56-year-old man was fishing off 10-foot cliff near MacKenzie State Recreation Area when he either fell into the ocean or was swept in by a wave.
Rescue crews were called about 9:40 p.m. Friday.
Crews searched Friday night but did not find anything. The search resumed at first light on Saturday.
The Coast Guard is using a MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Air Station Barbers Point on Oahu and also diverted the Cutter Kiska, a 110-foot patrol boat.
The Hawaii County Fire Department is using a rescue boat and a ground team in the search.
