A man killed in a Big Island crash has been identified as 20-year-old Austin Yurong of Ka'u.
Police say he was driving a pickup truck and lost control of it while traveling east on Route 11 near Ginger Blossom Lane.
Officers say his truck veered off the right shoulder a few times and struck multiple lava embankments before it rolled and ejected Yurong.
He was taken to the hospital Friday night and died at The Queen's Medical Center on Sunday.
Police believe that alcohol and speed may be contributing factors in the crash.
