Parents point, click and record their children all the time, but for one Washington County family, a minute-and-a-half video posted online will reach "super" status on Sunday.
Charlie Ray Wick is an only child, and his dad decided to feature his son's life on YouTube.
Charlie's birth story has more than 171,000 views on YouTube, but its another video that will land the toddler on millions of television screens across the country on Saturday.
At 8 months old, Charlie and his dad were spending a cold winter's day indoors. Charlie was learning to walk and dad was chasing Charlie around the house when he had an idea.
"He started zipping all around the house and I thought 'Oh my gosh, this is a perfect opportunity to grab the GoPro camera and stick it on his walker," said Jeff Wick.
Jeff shot 30 minutes of video which he then cut down, set to music and posted to YouTube.
And from a 1 minute 36 second video, a Super Bowl star will be born.
Eleven months after posting Charlie's walker video online, the maker of the camera spotted it online and contacted the Hartford family about using the footage in a commercial.
And then they mentioned the Super Bowl.
"I was like 'Whoa! Really? The Super Bowl?" Wick said.
