Trends & Talkers: CromwellsUPDATED 8:19 PM HST Apr 11, 2014Video Transcript
Changes coming to Cromwells have you talking tonight. Earlier this week, we told you about how safety concerns have led to plans for fence construction at the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art and Culture. The foundation has decided to install a 6-foot-tall black aluminum fence to keep people from jumping off a wall behind the building. Lots of you upset about this move. Kahele Naeole writes, "Great! All they're doing is making the jumping point 6 feet higher. Way to think it through." Patrick Costa thinks, "Pretty stupid if you ask me...the jump just got higher.... The temptation just got bigger and 3 years from now the fence will be rusty." But Gino Bardolino counters, "It's a shame, but whining about it won't change the fact that people were treating her property like their own, and making stupid moves." People can still swim and fish at the location. Construction is expected to begin later this month and be completed by the end of May. We want to know what you think, so head to facebook and weigh in.
