debate at the state capitol has more than 150 of you chiming in tonight. Last night we told you about how a House committee has approved a bill to outlaw eating cats and dogs and ban trafficking cats and dogs for slaughter and consumption in Hawaii. Those in support of the bill packed a legislative hearing room in March -- WITH THEIR PETS -- to rally lawmakers. The bill now goes to the House floor for a vote. Lisa Marie Marshall-Martin wants to know, " Who in the heck even eats cat and dog??? Is this for real? I'm getting sick just thinking about it! Sasha Payao says, "I think I'm more appalled that there wasn't a ban to begin with." But Donald Yoshihara counters, "What about the rest, horses, goats, sheep, cattle, poultry, rats, etc?" Some of you on facebook have accused the state of being culturally insensitive with this measure. We want to know what you think. Head to facebook and join the discussion.
