The sign of long war in Afghanistan coming to an end Tonight, more than a hundred soldiers based here and who have been deployed since last June FINALLY coming home. Friends and family greeted these 120 soldiers who returned to their base just about an hour ago. The Hawaii Army National Guard Helicopter unit CH-47. Part of the Bravo Company 1st of the 171st serving as part of Operation Enduring Freedom is the next to last Hawaii National Guard unit that is returning from Afghanistan. and Their famiklies couldn't be happier to come home.
