It takes many hands to put together the Mayor's Memorial Day Service at Punchbowl tomorrow. Oahu's Boy Scouts lent theirs to continue a tradition. Getting soaked by the pouring rain didn't stop the scouts from decorating all 38-thousand graves. Each gravesite received a lei, a flag and a salute. More than 1500 boy scouts...ages 5 to 20...learned the meaning of patriotism and sacrifice. 107 ITS AN HONOR FOR US TO BE INVOLVED IN THIS PROJECT BUT ITS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE THE SCOUTS ARE NOT ONLY DOING COMMUNITY SERVICE BUT ARE HELPING UNDERSTAND THE VALUE OF OUR VETERANS AND SOLDIERS THAT ARE HERE AT PUNCHBOWL MEMORIAL CEMETERY 116 The Mayor's Memorial Day Service at Punchbowl will begin at 8:30 a.m. Tomorrow.
