10 years behind bars. That's how much time this O-triple-C escapee could face-- after leading police on a massive manhunt last month. Daniel Skelton made an appearance in court today. Before his escape on June 16th he had been in prison for violating probation on a burglary conviction. Judge Steven Alm was planning to sentence Skelton to ten years for the probation violation but Skelton contested. A hearing will be held July 11th to further consider his sentence. Skelton was caught in lower Nuuanu two days after he escaped from O-triple-C. His attorney says Skelton has not yet been indicted for escape or any escape related charges.
