Baby delivered on Albuquerque freeway
A baby was delivered in a car on the side of an Albuquerque freeway.
The baby came so fast, her father was forced to pull over on Interstate 25.
Brinna Lee Milligan had a grand entrance into the world.
"We're on the side of I-25; we are on the side of the freeway. It's freezing outside, and I'm delivering this baby," said father Andrew Milligan.
"We were half way through Bernalillo when I felt the first urge to just push," said mother Deanne Milligan.
Within minutes, Andrew Milligan became the delivery doctor.
"I'm not ready for delivering a baby, but ... I might as well. I got to do it," Andrew Milligan said.
"Just one or two pushes and she was here, and I was like, 'OK, call 911," said Deanne Milligan.
Dispatchers told the couple the umbilical cord needed to be tied off.
"So I find an MP3 cable from my stereo, and I'm like, 'This has got to work,'" said Andrew Milligan.
