Two people were rushed to the hospital Friday after a single car crash in Waianae.

Police said the crash occurred at 3 a.m. on Waianae Valley Road just after Plantation Road, reported KITV 4 News.

Authorities at the scene said the car ran off the road and into some bushes.

The cause is still being investigated but police said alcohol does not appear to be a factor.

A 21-year-old woman riding in the back seat was found in the car. She was taken to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.

The 20-year-old female driver and a 22-year-old man riding in the front passenger seat were both thrown from the vehicle.

The driver was not hurt.

The passenger was also taken to hospital but is now listed in stable condition.
